I care about the parts of software that remain after the first release — reliability, ownership, data consistency, access control, and the ability for a team to make the next change without guessing.
Most of my work sits between implementation and evaluation. I build systems, test assumptions, document tradeoffs, and study how software behaves when infrastructure, budget, and access are limited.
